Dr. Joshua Dwight

Dr. Dwight is currently lecturer at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Vietnam. Most recently before joining RMIT in October, he taught at City University of Seattle and was a Senior Program Manager with the Merchant Risk Council. At City University he taught and developed a mix of business and technology courses. At the Merchant Risk Council, he developed and managed the education program developing the Certified Payment and Fraud Prevention Professional certification and professional development courses. Additionally, he has served in various roles at Costco, Washington Federal Bank, Boeing, and the United States Department of Justice. He was a member of NIST's National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education. His current research interests involve digital payments, fraud analytics, and cyber security.

Dr. Vouama is an Assistant Professor at UC where he teaches cybersecurity courses. His current research interests are primarily in the areas of Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence (Autonomous Security), and Blockchain Technology. He is the Founder, Managing Director & Cybersecurity Product Architect of KisiCyber, a cybersecurity startup that uses a sustainable Cybersecurity approach to provide AI-powered cybersecurity and automation solutions to help detect crucial threats, predict cyber-attacks, and prevent breaches in your environment.  He also served as articles reviewer on many Computer Science publications and sits on the editorial board of several journals. He is a graduate of MIT’s Cyber Security program. He holds an AAS in Computer Information Systems, a Bachelor in Computer Information Systems, an MA in Management and Leadership, and a Doctor of Computer Science(D.C.Sc), and several computer certifications.

Dr. Buleje’s background includes over 20 years of industry experience in the space of engineering and technology, working for large and Fortune 500 corporations, including IBM, SAIC, L3Harris, Accenture, Cubic Corp., and Medtronics. Dr. Buleje’s academic background includes a BS in Computer Engineering from Florida International University, an MS in Cyber Security and Forensics from Florida Institue of Technology, an MBA from National Technological University, and a Ph.D. in Computer Information Sciences from Nova Southeastern University. His research contribution, including active participation in symposiums for publications and presentations, revolves around big data, analytics, and Enterprise Business Systems, specifically ERPs, and their overall impact on corporations' performance and valuation. Dr. Buleje serves as Editorial Board Member for the Intl. Journal of Aviation Science at Florida Institute of Technology.

Dr. Cheryl Purdy

Dr. Cheryl Purdy is a sworn law enforcement officer whose specialty is that of a Digital Forensic Examiner/Analyst. She has been in this position for the past 12 years. Dr. Purdy has performed hundreds of examinations at both the state and federal systems, most resulting in successful prosecution, and a few resulting in exoneration of a suspect. She has provided expert witness testimony in numerous cases over the years.

Kevin has been in public accounting in the areas of audit and information technology (IT) systems since 1991. He currently manages and performs System and Organization Controls (SOC) engagements, outsourced and co-sourced IT internal audit engagements, SOX/JSOX compliance testing, cybersecurity assessments, HIPAA security risk assessments, PCI gap assessments, IT risk assessments, as well as other IT compliance and regulatory engagements. When not auditing, Kevin also manages the consulting and support of daily IT operations for a number of organizations. This gives him a hands-on perspective that is beneficial for performing IT audits. He has developed numerous unique technological solutions for a wide range of business needs. Many of the solutions he has implemented have included redesigning policies, procedures, and related information systems controls.

Michael’s professional background includes six years working on the blue team (security operations) side of security as well as six years working on the red team (conducting technical security assessment and penetration tests). Michael has extensive experience with vulnerability and patch management, computer forensics, incident response, security awareness training and development, network intrusion detection, and technical security assessments (including penetration testing). He also holds a security clearance.
